Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar hosted Alice in Middle East since the very start. All the workshops, teacher training and competitions were all hosted at the campus. In addition to they sponsored printing the schools textbooks, educational materials and hosting this website!

Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburg is the official producer of Alice  software, which is made free to anyone anywhere. We are grateful for their gift and thankful for collaboration with us to produce the new version: Alice in the Middle East (Alice ME) which can be downloaded here.
