Alice 2 ME
Alice is 3D programming environment tool that helps novice programmers to learn fundamental programming concepts in the context of creating animated movies and simple video games. It exposes students to the object oriented programming experience where students have to create a program in order for them to animate an object.
The research is focused on adapting Alice for the Middle East by introducing 3-D models that are more relevant to Qatari culture and are more familiar for the students to tell their stories. It will make Alice 2 ME to be an appropriate and more engaging tool to use for teaching computer science where students from various grades level can learn about computing, logic, and communication skills.
Our aim is responding to the Qatari National vision that is striving to equip the new generations with the world class education that can meet the demands of the increasingly complex technical requirements.
